Mike Vanemon Camera Recommendations

I recommend and buy all of my gear from KEH camera.
KEH has been in the used camera business for almost 50 years.

They answer the phone quickly and stand behind everything they sell.
I am an affiliate with KEH and may receive a small commission should you choose to buy from these links.

Thank you in advance if you choose to.

Camera Body
For the beginner I recommend either the Canon EOS 70D or the Canon EOS R.
Both cameras allow the user to easily manipulate settings and see results in real time.

The Canon EOS 70D is a DSLR camera body that has a reflector. Comparably the Canon EOS 80D is also a slightly upgraded version of the Canon EOS 70D and is near the same price point.

The Canon EOS R is a reflector free body noticeably faster speed than the 70D or 80D.

The Canon EOS R is two to three times the price but it is a noticeably different, much improved and the most significant  upgrade to the modern digital camera in decades. If you can afford the EOS R I recommend it.
