PowerPoint #2: The Meaning of Colors

1. Open and save a new presentation as YourLastNameColors.ppt
2. Insert a footer with your first name, last name, period, and day (odd/even).
3. In the footer dialog box check the box that reads “Don’t Show On Title Slide”.
4. Using the images below create the following slideshow that details: The Meaning of Colors.

5. Use a maximum of one or two fonts throughout the presentation.
6. Choose a font that coordinates with the message you are delivering.
7. Keep all the headlines the same point and size on each slide.
8. For the body text on each slide, use a point size that can be easily read.

Title Slide Formatting
9. Use Word Art to accentuate the title “The Meaning of Colors”, on the title slide.
10. Use a Smart Art on the title slide.

Content Slides Formatting
11. Directions for the subject content slides:
a. For slide #2, format all of the text to the color red.
b. For slide #3, change the background of the slide to orange.
c. For slide #4, change the background of the slide to green.
d. For slide #5, change the background of the slide to blue, change the color of the text on the slide to a different shade of blue (make sure that the color contrast makes the text readable).
e. For slide #6, change the background of the slide to gray, change the color of the text on the slide to yellow.
f. For slide #7, change the background of the slide to purple, change the color of the text on the slide to white.
g. For slide #2, change the background of the slide to pink.

12. Add a  Gradient Background to slide #1 only (change text color aslk if necessary).

13. Insert a shape on the last slide and change its color.
14. Insert a text box inside the shape AND type your initials in it.

15. Insert a slide transition on each slide.
16. Set the each slide to advance automatically after five seconds.

15. Copy and paste an image that relates to the topic from the internet (Google Images).
16. Include at least one custom animation on each slide for text.
